**Mangosteen Exporter works through an OKKPD-registered partner packhouse network across Bali and Java, so buyers receive sorted, size-graded, lot-traceable manggis staged for China protocol. We coordinate pre-cooling, grading lines and reefer loading via vetted licensed partners — we do not own the orchards, and final quarantine and customs clearance is never guaranteed.**
A single farm cannot fill a reefer container to one grade standard. A packhouse network can. For buyers who care less about a pretty photo and more about whether every carton in the container matches the sample, the depth behind the fruit is the product. This page explains what our partner packhouse network gives you, where the fruit comes from, and how an order moves from kebun to reefer.
Why does a packhouse network matter for mangosteen buyers?
One orchard in Tabanan might pick 800 kg of export-grade Super in a good week. A China importer wants 12 metric tonnes to one size band, one cosmetic standard, one lot record. Bridging that gap is exactly what a registered packhouse network does: it pools fruit from many verified kebun, then re-sorts everything on shared grading lines so the container is uniform even when the orchards are not.
Three things buyers gain when the supply chain has this depth:
- Grade consistency. Fruit is re-graded by count-per-kilo at the packhouse, not just accepted as the farmer packed it. A “Super” carton means roughly 10 fruit/kg across the whole lot, not the top of one box and the bottom of another.
- Lot traceability. Each pooled lot carries an internal reference tying it back to the source kebun cluster, pick date and grading run — the record buyers and quarantine officers ask for.
- Capacity you can scale. A network can lift a trial 1 MT order to a repeat 20 MT reefer program during peak harvest without you sourcing a second supplier.
Per the mangosteen Export Protocol, fruit must come from orchards registered with Barantan (Badan Karantina Pertanian) and GACC that run SOP, GAP and IPM under the Directorate General of Horticulture, then be handled at a packhouse registered by OKKPP (central) or OKKPD (regional) and verified by Barantan. Our partner packhouses sit inside that registration chain. We arrange access; we do not claim to own or certify the facilities ourselves.
Which regions feed the Bali partner packhouse network?
Bali is the demand gateway — Bali manggis exports to China jumped several-fold in the month before Lunar New Year in early 2026 — but the harvest itself is national. Our partner network draws from four main origin belts so we can keep grading lines busy across a longer window than any single region allows.
| Origin region | Local role | Rough peak window |
|---|---|---|
| Bali (Tabanan, Buleleng) | Denpasar logistics, China-facing lots | Dec-Feb |
| West Java (Jabar) | Large-volume standard and Super grade | Nov-Jan |
| West Sumatra (Sumbar) | Early and late-season fill | Nov-Mar |
| North Sumatra (Sumut) | Volume and price-grade fruit | Dec-Feb |
National harvest runs November to March, and it is regionally variable — one region tapers as another peaks. That overlap is what lets the network hold grade supply steady instead of spiking and collapsing with a single orchard’s calendar. All figures here are indicative as of 2026 and move with the panen.
What does a graded lot cost, and how much can you move?
Pricing is FOB and grade-and-size dependent. The band below is indicative per 2026, moves with harvest, grade and season, and a final quote confirms grade, size, destination and MOQ. China wholesale landed prices run higher than these numbers — that is the destination market, not our FOB quote.
| Grade | Fruit count | FOB (USD/kg, per 2026) | Typical buyer |
|---|---|---|---|
| FAQ / lower grade | ~15-20 fruit/kg | 1.5-2.5 | Price-led, regional markets |
| Standard export (A) | 12-15 fruit/kg | 2.2-3.0 | Wholesale, Southeast Asia |
| Premium / Super | ~10 fruit/kg | 2.8-3.8 (rare lots ~4.0) | China protocol, premium retail |
Working range across grades is roughly USD 2-3.5/kg FOB. Volume tiers scale from a trial pallet to a full reefer:
| Order tier | Volume | Carton options | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trial / MOQ | 1-3 MT | 5 / 8 / 10 kg | Single grade, test lot |
| Container | ~10-25 MT | 5 / 8 / 10 kg | Reefer, one or split grade |
| Repeat program | Multi-container | Buyer spec | Booked against harvest calendar |
Reefer cold chain runs from farm through pre-cooling to destination ports — Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Hong Kong — via Tanjung Perak (Surabaya), Tanjung Priok (Jakarta) or Denpasar logistics.
How does a packhouse-backed order work?
Booking runs through the Bali Premium Trip concierge desk, which coordinates the partner packhouse network on your behalf.
- Send your brief. Grade, target volume, carton size, destination port and required arrival window. WhatsApp or email is fastest.
- Get an indicative quote. We confirm current grade availability and an FOB band within 24 working hours, plus the documents your buyer or importer needs.
- Lot allocation. The network assigns your volume to registered partner packhouses and source kebun clusters, with a lot reference for traceability.
- Grading and inspection. Fruit is re-sorted by count-per-kg; cosmetic and ripeness checks screen for getah (latex) stain, cracks and rot. Any brix, size or OPTK-free claim is stated only from batch inspection or a COA.
- Documentation. We coordinate OKKPD packhouse approval, phytosanitary/quarantine certificate, GAP records, invoice, packing list and certificate of origin. On the China side, registration flows through Barantan and GACC channels.
- Reefer loading and dispatch. Pre-cooled fruit is loaded to reefer and shipped from the agreed port.
We can arrange every step above through licensed partners. We cannot and do not guarantee that any shipment will pass China’s protocol, quarantine or customs — those decisions rest with the authorities, and fruit must be free of China’s target pests (fruit flies, mealybugs, ants and mites) and free of rot or cracks.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I get to see which packhouse handled my mangosteen lot?
Yes. Every pooled lot carries an internal reference tying it to the registered partner packhouse, source kebun cluster, pick date and grading run. That record is what quarantine officers and importers ask for, and we share the OKKPD packhouse approval and lot traceability details with your paperwork before dispatch.
Can the partner packhouse network guarantee my shipment clears China customs?
No, and any exporter who promises that is misleading you. We coordinate registered packhouses, phytosanitary certification and Barantan/GACC channels to give your lot the best chance, but clearance decisions rest with China’s authorities. Fruit must be rot-free, crack-free and free of target pests. We arrange compliance; we never guarantee passage.
How much fresh mangosteen can the Bali packhouse network handle at once?
Trial orders start at a 1-3 MT MOQ and scale to a reefer container of roughly 10-25 MT to a single grade. Because the network pools fruit from Bali, Jabar, Sumbar and Sumut across the November-March harvest, repeat multi-container programs can be booked against the season calendar rather than one orchard’s output.
Is the network only in Bali, or does it cover Java too?
Bali is the China-facing logistics gateway, but the partner packhouse network draws fruit from West Java, West Sumatra and North Sumatra as well. That spread keeps grading lines supplied across a longer window, since regional peaks overlap. Fruit can ship via Tanjung Perak, Tanjung Priok or Denpasar depending on your grade and port.
